New tender from the Lazio Region worth 20 million euros

To support the energy independence of local businesses by encouraging investments in photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems.

The “Solar Energy for Businesses” call for proposals, a new initiative from the Lazio Region, was presented today at WEGIL in Rome. The initiative offers €20 million to support local businesses’ energy independence by encouraging investments in photovoltaic systems and storage systems.

The initiative, funded under the ERDF Lazio 2021-2027 Programme, is managed by Lazio Innova and aims to promote self-generation of electricity from renewable sources, reduce energy costs, and strengthen the competitiveness of Lazio companies, in line with the European strategy for greener and more sustainable growth.

The call is open to companies of any size with operations in Lazio. Large companies are also eligible, provided the investment involves a new installed capacity of at least 600 kWp.
